The Pontiac G8 is just a mid-size sedan which was produced by General Motors under the Pontiac brand from 2008 to 2009. The G8 was based on the Holden Commodore, an Australian-made car that was also sold because the Chevrolet SS in the United States. The Pontiac G8 was obtainable in three trim levels: the beds base model, GT, and Pontiac G8 2024 GXP. It was well-regarded by automotive enthusiasts because of its performance and handling, but its short production run means that it's a somewhat rare vehicle on the used car market.

The 2024 Pontiac G8 dashboard featured a simple and uncluttered layout with easy-to-use controls and a definite instrument cluster. The guts console was also well-designed and provided ample space for storage for private items. The Pontiac G8 had comfortable and supportive seats which were covered in high-quality leather upholstery. The front seats were spacious and had plenty of legroom and headroom. A corner seats were also roomy, although taller passengers may have discovered headroom to become a bit limited because of the sloping roofline.

However, due to declining sales and a shift in consumer preferences towards SUVs and crossovers, General Motors made a decision to discontinue the Pontiac brand in 2010.  The Pontiac was a brand of automobiles that was produced by General Motors from 1926 to 2010. Pontiac was noted for producing performance-oriented vehicles, like the GTO, Firebird, and Trans Am. The brand was named after the town of Pontiac, Michigan, where the organization was headquartered.

However, some reviewers criticized the car's interior because of its uninspired design and low-quality materials. The G8 also handled well, with a well-tuned suspension system that provided a sporty yet comfortable ride. The car's rear-wheel drive layout and balanced weight distribution contributed to its nimble handling, and the available Brembo brakes provided excellent stopping power. Inside, the G8 offered a spacious and comfortable cabin with supportive front seats and ample room for rear passengers.

The G8 is praised for the smooth and powerful acceleration, as well as its excellent handling and braking. The V6 engine rated at 17 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway, as the V8 engine rated at 15 mpg in the town and 24 mpg on the highway. Both engines were paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. The Pontiac G8's fuel economy varied with respect to the engine and transmission. The V6 engine produced 256 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque, as the V8 engine produced 361 horsepower and 385 pound-feet of torque.

The 2024 Pontiac G8 is offered two engine options, a 3.6-liter V6 engine, and a 6.0-liter V8 engine. If you're in a position to track one down, it's certainly worth taking into consideration because of its combination of performance, handling, and comfort.
